Plot
When maple syrup farmer Ruth Landry finds her livelihood under attack from greedy competitors who were once her friends, she devises a scheme to exact revenge and shake up the industry.
I never expected it to be this good!
There is drama, tension, suspense and the dialogue is downright funny!
Each character is thoroughly developed, even if they only appear for a few minutes
However, as the plot progresses, it seems that despite the complex and personal problems experienced by each of the three main characters, the show is primarily comedic and the proof of this is that the director has perfectly understood what makes a great comedy: MOVEMENT.
Hands down to the directing
Indeed, most of the ‘funny movies or series’ that are released nowadays lack this essential substance, namely actors who know how to use MOVEMENT for comedic effect.
